Thimi Bible Church runs Lydia Tailoring Center, the sewing school for the single Christian ladies. Till the March 2007, we had a different area on rent for the Tailoring Center, but because of the financial crises, we brought the Sewing School too on the same house with the Church. The annual capacity for our School was 50 ladies to train each year, but we reduced even the students and teaching only for some ladies at this time from our own Church itself.
Though vocational skills can be the best way for teaching specially for the ladies whose husbands leave them only because of their faith in Jesus. This is one of the problems we face in non-Christian nations that when the women come to know Jesus, some time their husband can leave them too. In order to make them able to stand on their own feet if their husband left them too, the Sewing and other vocational skills can be the best way for them to survive.
It is not possible for the Church of a developing nations only to run such a project for a long time. Please pray for us so that we may get more resources and start the project on full capacity soon again.
